ENABLING YOU TO SHAPE A BETTER TOMORROW Code number: J000014411 Entry level: Professionals Location: Bucuresti, Cluj, Timisoara Organization: MHP – A Porsche Company Tasks Lead one of MHP’s local Data Engineering teams: shape the data infrastructure, guide team members, and ensure the effective delivery of data solutions Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows, using Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft Azure Data Stack, together with SQL and Python/PySpark Drive best practices in data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL processes, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability Act as a technical advisor to guide architectural decisions, data governance, and quality standards, aligning with best practices and industry standards Provide expertise in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD and pipeline management, promoting version control, testing, and automation Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment Act as a staffing and opportunity manager, aligning team members to the right projects and opportunities to maximize impact and career growth Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to identify and fulfill data needs and align data solutions with business goals Qualifications Must have: Expert knowledge of SQL, data modelling and data warehousing Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Python/PySpark, and Power BI (or similar tools) Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, with a focus on data engineering solutions (Data Factory, Synapse, DevOps) Proven track record as a team leader, including experience in staffing, project management, and mentorship Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions and approaches to data engineering challenges Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice-to-haves: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services Expertise in Databricks Familiarity with DBT is a strong plus Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Data Structures / Data Engineering is an advantage Things to know before departure: Start: by arrangement – always on the 1st and 15th of the month Working hours: full-time ( 40h); 27 vacation days Employment contract: Unlimited Line of work: Consulting Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken English; German is a plus Flexibility & willingness to travel Other: a valid work permit Exclusive look behind the scenes At MHP, you will continuously grow with your projects and objectives in an innovative and supportive environment.
