What do you do as BI/Data Analyst As a BI/Data Analyst you work on a daily basis on large and small projects for different customers in our logistics operations. At GXO you work at one of the largest Supply Chain organizations in the world. As a result, no workday is the same! In this role, the focus is to transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business. You are responsible for building the company “Reporting system and KPI’s” to measure our business performances across our main warehousing and transportation services. Your responsibility is to develop and provide new business intelligence solutions, to analyze data, to deliver reporting solutions/packages/database solutions to include a range of reports, scorecards, dashboards and other solutions. You will be working at the IT department, where IT is taking care of all GXO sites in Italy and Switzerland. In this role you will report directly to the IT Operations Director. Your duties include: Work closely with the Business/Operations to ensure that data pulled from WMSs and TMSs accurately reflects our GXO business processes and monitoring needs Define reporting requirements Creation and maintain the dashboards and KPIs used by our Operations Primary support contact and expert for the Company BI and Data Analytics platforms Enhancement of the existing reports/dashboards to improve performance and presentation You are responsible to delivers reporting solutions by developing and creating new reports In charge of the dentification, specification, querying, validation and delivery of standard and custom reports You will develop, validate and provide ongoing support of operational and project-related reports, scripts and data analysis You provide technical direction, guidance and assistance during project development, maintaining data integrity and quality control of delivered reports Develop, maintain and optimize database modules and system components You will influence business decisions by developing and institutionalizing data driven analytics What we offer you You will work in a dynamic organization where development and personal contribution are central A job with a lot of responsibility, where no day is the same Enterprising, open and informal organizational culture Office available in a central area of Milan. What do you have You have a minimum of HBO work and thinking level You have excellent knowledge of databases, BI and Data Analytics platforms, preferably in a 3PL environment You have at least 5 years of experience in similar projects and organizations You are independent, analytical and accurate, but you are also able to maintain a helicopter view Experience in a complex, high demanding and fast-paced international environment, preferably in Supply Chain industry You have excellent knowledge of Italian and English Language.
