Webuild is looking for a Bid Analysis, Contract Forms and Reporting Manager , based in our Corporate Office in Rome. Activities: Tender Reviews – Review incoming tender documents and identify quantifiable and unquantifiable excessive obligations/liabilities/damages/indemnities and termination and cost issues not compliant with company risk profile and advise DGT accordingly – Liaison with local counsel on key legal issues related to local law issues and risk items – Drafting of a red-line of the conditions of contract and/or negotiation of the conditions of contract with the Client, as required by top management – To pass to DPO and Site Contract Managers details of identified risks ( incase of Contract award)- Production of various management reports for tender process and presentation of same in tender meetings. Project Contract Dept. Start-up procedures – Production of list of Contract contractual Technical and Contractual/Commercial upon Contract Award and provision to Planning, PM and Area Contract Manager – Responsible for the transfer of the Site Start-up (BEST PRACTICE) procedures to Area Contract Manager Forms of Sub-Contractor Procurement, including Forms of Design Services Agreements – Provide appropriate standard forms of subcontract to the Procurement Dept. taking into account the main contract conditions and particularities of local law, to be used in subcontract procurement – Liaison with local counsel on key legal issues related to local law issues as affect the standard form of subcontract- Production of sui generis standard forms of subcontract in case of inapplicability of company standard forms – Assistance with negotiation of subcontract terms and finalization of forms – Supplementary forms, guidance and direction as required to Site Contracts Dept. in cases where previous tasks are performed at Site Level, to ensure maintenance of key company risk allocation standards Shift Reports – Production of appropriate Shift Reports and production records suitable for the project type for Site Contract Dept. Implementation – Supplementary guidance and direction as required Technical Skills +8 years of experience at least Degree in Engineering (nice to have) / Law Solid understanding of legal items Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects Deep knowledge of international contract law Excellent communication skills Fluent in English and Italian both Location: Rome Show more Show less
