Location : Bucharest, Romania Employment Type : Full-time Key Responsibilities Equipment Installation & Testing: Install, configure, and test new AV equipment and facilities. Advanced Hardware Expertise: Demonstrate crimping expertise with BNC, Micro BNC, RJ45, and XLR connectors, and maintain strong knowledge of AV broadcasting and IT networking hardware. Network Configuration: Set up and manage star networks for seamless device communication. Scaler & Matrix Systems: Understand and operate scalers and matrix systems effectively. Virtual Studio Setup: Configure and maintain equipment for virtual studio productions and chroma keying (green screen). Audio-Visual Link Maintenance: Establish and monitor AV links across multiple units, troubleshooting issues to ensure uptime. Equipment Troubleshooting: Analyze technical problems, develop creative solutions, and minimize service downtime. Outside Broadcast Operations: Set up, operate, and maintain equipment and transmission links for live broadcasts. Custom AV Solutions: Design and install custom audio-visual circuits and hardware systems tailored to specific needs. Health & Safety: Promote and adhere to workplace health and safety best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, creative directors, and team members to execute projects effectively. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, exploring new technologies and techniques. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a technically skilled professional with a creative mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Skills & Expertise Required Strong knowledge of photography concepts like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure. Technical expertise with cameras, camera equipment, and video switchers. Hands-on experience in electronic engineering and operating communication devices. Advanced understanding of SDI systems and live chroma keying for video production. Proficiency in IT networking, including configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a creative approach to resolving technical issues. Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients. Project management experience with a strong attention to detail and organization. Preferred Experience Familiarity with the setup and maintenance of AV equipment for live broadcasts and virtual productions. Experience designing and building custom hardware systems.
