Company Description We are looking for a Building Automation Engineer to join our team in Budapest. In this role, you will work on Building Controls systems enhancing energy efficiency and supporting various construction projects across Hungary and the region. The position requires travel based on actual project requirements. As part of our team, you will also undergo specialized training with the provider of Bosch’s standard building automation systems to ensure you are fully equipped to handle our systems and standards. Job Description Energy Efficiency Projects: Support local teams monitoring the performance of Building Management Systems including HVAC, electrical and other systems controlled by BMS Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address system issues Analyze system data to identify optimization opportunities and improve energy efficiency Collaborate with the global energy efficiency team and its experts Develop and implement strategies to omptimize performance and reduce energy consumption Coordinate the integration of new building management technologies and upgrades into existing systems Implement energy efficiency measures by optimizing building controls, including: Tuning parameters and controls Modifying control programs for PLCs Enhancing visualization systems Construction and Reconstruction Projects: Perform necessary BMS tasks such as programming, commissioning, testing, and servicing Support locations and BMS contractors in larger scale projects Address backlogs by following up on reconstruction works and updating building controls accordingly Qualifications Education: Degree in electrical engineering, building automation, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven experience in building management systems (BMS) and automation. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems in buildings, with a strong understanding of their operation and control Practical knowledge of PLC programming and visualization systems Project management experience is a plus Familiarity with decarbonization projects is an advantage Skills: Proficiency in control system optimization and energy efficiency measures Familiarity with building control systems and protocols Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Project management skills are an advantage Other: Fluent English with strong technicial language proficiency.
