We are well on our way and are now looking for another skilled team member to contribute tothis goal. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play an important role as a sparring partner for the business, helping to address challenges and support decisions with factual insights. About The Job Business Intelligence is positioned within our strategy function, and you will join a team of employees with competencies spanning all areas of BI, ranging from junior to senior levels. You will never work alone on a task, and there is plenty of knowledge to draw upon. We work in an agile manner with a quarterly plan for our overarching priorities, using Kanban daily to handle and prioritize new needs as they arise. Team collaboration is close, as is our partnership with the business on prioritized tasks. Currently, most data resides within the MS SQL Server stack, and we are transitioning toward Snowflake and dbt. As part of our BI team, your primary responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the business to identify the need for new insights. Modeling the appropriate data products to meet business needs. Working with the BI team and other data users to further develop the data warehouse. Visualizing data to simplify access and enhance self-service. “In the BI team, we focus on the business’s needs, and in collaboration with the business, we define various rules and definitions in the data. We create both complex data models and small, quick ad-hoc data deliveries, all of which support the business’s needs and requests. There is a wide variety of tasks and challenges, which only makes working with our data more enjoyable. Most importantly, we optimize and automate everything that can be optimized and automated within data processes,” says Camilla from the BI team. About You We are looking for an experienced SQL Specialist who can transform business needs into insights through data. The focus is on data modeling and data management, requiring an ability to understand complex relationships while maintaining an overview and clear structure. If you can also visualize data, that’s a significant advantage. You Have Several years of experience with SQL development in a role where you’ve also handled data modeling and structuring. Experience with Snowflake and dbt, or with the MS SQL Server stack and a willingness to develop skills in the former. Visualization skills and possibly experience with Power BI and DAX or another tool to support your work. A structured approach to tasks, ensuring your code and outputs are understandable and usable by others. A high level of responsibility for your work by being precise in solutions and communication. Good collaboration skills that your colleagues notice in daily interactions. Proficiency in stakeholder management and experience from working in complex organizations. Skilled in Danish and English.
