Join our team and #be_part_of_tomorrow #AlphaBank #TheAlphaBlueprint #Tomorrow The Business Portfolio Manager , as part of the bank’s Project Governance and Delivery Business Area, will join Portfolio Management and Execution Governance Framework function, which concerns Projects/ Programmes’ progress monitoring, demand prioritization, reporting, financials and issue resolution. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and highly skilled Projects/ Programmes Portfolio Manager able to communicate effectively and to perform in a fast-paced environment managing multiple stakeholders. What you will be doing Monitor progress of Programs/Projects in terms of scope, deliverables and timelines. Consolidate information to provide fully transparent regular updates to Committees covering timelines, budget, benefits. Gather and prioritize Business demand for projects while ensuring their deliverables. Identifying and managing risks across Portfolios to minimize impact on project delivery. Work closely with Business, Finance, Budgeting, IT and other functions to formulate, submit and monitor budget, provide regular and ad hoc reports to senior management and other stakeholders. Track expenses from initial demand submission to invoicing. Detect and raise potential issues to proactively avoid conflicts and/ or budget overruns contributing to on time and on budget delivery. Participate in monitoring tools’ development ensuring Execution Governance reporting, Project/Portfolio management, budget monitoring. Facilitate the Development and implementation of standardized project management methodologies and processes. Facilitate communication between senior management, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. What you need to have Two to Five (2-5) years of proven work experience in the banking/ financial services sectors or in a big consulting firm in similar roles related to Projects/ Programs Portfolio Management Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Science, or any other related discipline PMP/PRINCE2 or other related certification will be considered a plus Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Previous experience with Project/ Portfolio management tool will be considered as an asset Ability to meet targets and consistently deliver projects/ tasks on time as well as to manage priorities and deadlines Strong analytical, problem-solving and team working skills Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and professional manner (both in Greek and English) Excellent stakeholder management and presentation/ communication skills Ability to multi-task and handle various project elements simultaneously Ability to articulate “the big picture” and cut through complexity to Work autonomously with as little direction as possible What we offer It’s all about our people.
