Last year we introduced the most sustainable tyre; the Nokian Tyres Green Step concept tyre, which is a masterpiece of sustainable innovation with its ambitious design consisting of 93% of the materials either recycled or renewable. We’re looking for an experienced Communication Specialist for our new tyre factory in Oradea, Romania. region. You will be an active part of our inspiring and expanding organization and you will support our strong development within our Central European Region. Your main responsibilities: Manage local social media channels (critical for recruitments), website and intranet. Reply to inquiries and comments on social media. Manage local media relations activities, respond to local media inquiries. Serve as the primary liaison between the Romanian organization and the local communications agency. Create and distribute engaging content across various channels including press releases, newsletters, social media platforms, website, and internal communication channels. Monitor media coverage. Proactively identify and manage potential communication risks or crises, working closely with relevant stakeholders to develop response plans and ensure timely and accurate communication. Coordinate events and other public engagements to promote the organization’s activities and initiatives. Support internal stakeholders by providing communication guidance and materials as needed. Implement Nokian Tyres communication strategies to effectively convey key messages to internal and external stakeholders (media, community, partners), in coordination with the global and CE MarCom teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, human resources, and operations to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging. To be successful in this position, you need to have Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in a communications role. Ability to communicate both in Romanian (native) and English (at least B.2.2.). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences and channels in Romanian and English. Experience managing relationships with external vendors, such as PR agencies. Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and media monitoring software. Knowledge of the local media landscape and cultural nuances in Romania . What do we offer for it: Full time employment. Salary by agreement.
