On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to oversee and administer contract packages from award to close-out, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and excellence in execution. Your Impact: As a Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the lifecycle of contractor package contracts. You will ensure compliance with established processes, develop and maintain essential documentation, and act as the subject matter expert for assigned contract packages. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining financial accountability and achieving seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage timelines for contract development and execution. Create and maintain detailed reports to monitor and manage the program effectively. Review project schedules and escalate contract issues as needed for resolution. Analyse and address discrepancies in project charges to maintain financial accuracy. Provide regular project budget updates on a weekly and monthly basis. Implement processes to ensure accountability and compliance in contract and subcontract expenditures. Oversee the processing and approval of payment vouchers, addressing and correcting errors as required. Facilitate post-construction contract activities, ensuring smooth close-out procedures. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college. 5–10 years of experience in contract administration, construction management, project management, or a related field. Strong understanding of construction standards, review processes, and problem-resolution practices. Proficiency in using financial and construction document management software. Advanced Excel skills for managing and updating logs and spreadsheets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in both English and Italian. Nice to have: Advanced degree, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Familiarity with engineering construction principles, quality assurance, and control practices.
