About the role In this role, you will drive excellence by leading contract negotiations and ensuring seamless contract management throughout the entire process. Working closely with our legal department and our technical team members you will facilitate contract execution, handle modifications, and strategically manage claims and counterclaims to support company objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the center of impactful negotiations and contract operations, contributing to the success and integrity of our projects. Collaboration & Negotiation Partner with the legal team to negotiate and finalize contract agreements. Provide strategic insights and guidance during contract signing to ensure optimal outcomes. Contract Management & Coordination Act as the primary liaison with budget team members during contract execution to handle amendments, claims, and counterclaims. Maintain comprehensive ledgers tracking contract changes, reasons for alterations, and any resulting impacts on costs, timelines, or scope. Lead and participate in negotiations concerning contract disputes, ensuring swift and fair resolutions. Review & Reporting Conduct post-contract reviews and summarize outcomes to provide valuable insights and future recommendations. Prepare thorough summary reports to reflect on learnings and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Needed University degree (Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s) in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of substantial professional experience and academic qualifications. Strong proficiency in English, with excellent speaking and writing skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, (other relevant software/technologies). Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in managing contract claims or related functions. Solid understanding of the full workflow involved in managing contract claims. Proven ability to collaborate in team settings while also excelling independently. Strong active listening, negotiation, and presentation capabilities. Chinese language knowledge is a plus.
