Join our team as a Direct Buyer – 1 year ! Boost Competitiveness: Collaborate with our Commodity organization to achieve cost reductions and improve our market position. Strategic Support: Contribute to our Commodity panels strategy within your region by executing productivity goals and tracking supplier performance. Lead Supplier Selection: Take charge of selecting suppliers for New Product Introductions (NPI) and Value Engineering (VE) projects. Innovate: Identify resourcing opportunities and generate VE ideas for our projects. Drive Productivity: Implement VE, resourcing, and logistics actions to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) requirements, working closely with the Commodity team. Manage Changes: Oversee post-SOP engineering changes with suppliers and ensure savings in the first year. Data Collection: Gather capacity data from suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Issue Resolution: Address logistics, capacity, and quality issues as the primary sourcing interface for plant supply chain and quality teams. Negotiate & Validate: Handle charge-back negotiations and implement mitigation plans. Support Compliance: Assist with trade, compliance, and sustainability information collection. Supplier Relations: Act as the Key Supplier Contact (KSC) when assigned by the Commodity team.
