We are looking for a Director People Romania to join our team. The role will be based in Constanta, Romania. In this role you will oversee the implementation of HR strategy to support business growth and objectives. Your role will be pivotal in aligning our people strategy with the company goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Implement country-level HR strategies that support business objectives Training and Development : Design and implement robust training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities. Lead workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place for current operations and future expansions. Performance Management : Lead performance management initiatives to drive a high-performance culture, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback processes. Employee and Industrial Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and labor unions Compensation and Benefits : Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Culture : Partner with leadership to embed a strong organizational culture aligned with our core values and business vision. Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, build morale, and foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture. Recruitment & Talent Management : Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Compliance : Ensure compliance with labor laws. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry-specific challenges. Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills. Experience managing teams across multiple locations and countries is a plus. A passion for fostering diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
