Discipline Lead Senior Structural Engineer As a key person in our business, you will have a dual role, both working with advanced structural solutions and leading projects as Discipline Lead. We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of calculations, building details, and construction technology. You are also used to taking responsibility and leading projects from concept to completion. Welcome to Cowi in Malmö! Your responsibilities Leading projects as Discipline Lead and serving as a reliable contact for both internal teams and external clients Collaborating with project managers to design accurate static models and create calculation models and structural calculations Being responsible for creating calculation reports and structural documentation in our projects Collaborating with project managers to design structural details as a basis for other engineers’ work Leading the work of other engineers Working daily with and mentoring our engineers both in Sweden and Lithuania Continuously reviewing the work of other engineers and ensuring that solutions are correctly documented and complete Final reviewing and quality assurance of documents before delivery Your Profile Documented experience as a Discipline Lead or similar leadership roles within the technical field Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both internally and with clients Be educated as a civil or higher education engineer, in construction or civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering Have good knowledge of applicable standards, be accustomed to making structural calculations, and independently design load-bearing systems and building technical solutions Be knowledgeable in building physics and have knowledge of construction site coordination Have more than 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer Have very good computer skills As a person, we believe you are responsible and enjoy the combination of working both independently and in a team.
