EDI Analyst To continue our growth, we are hiring experienced talents to join our global team as an EDI analyst in our new development center in Turin, Italy. You will be part of a young and dynamic multicultural team across multiple global MSC development sites. Further, you will have the great opportunity extending your area of expertise while interacting with other teams on businesses’ cross domain requirements. Within the program team and under its governance and methodology guidelines, the EDI analyst recommends and facilitates the roll out, testing, implementation, and maintenance of all EDI interfaces in place in each agency where OneVision Agency is implemented. His/her responsibilities are the identification and analysis of the current EDI setup in each agency (data collection and scoping phase); the setup of all the previously identified EDI interfaces within the OneVision agency application (configuration phase); the testing of the interfaces with internal stakeholders (agencies) and external providers as required; the creation of a functional specification for the development teams if gaps between the legacy system and the OneVision agency application have been identified and the support during and after the go live date (go live/hyper care, transition and regular support). He/she provides leadership throughout the entire rollout life cycle to ensure that the product meets company’s goals, and business needs and requirements. Key Responsibilities Collect business requirements from internal stakeholders (such as implementation guidelines, file samples, process details). Analyze the As-Is process in the legacy system. Solution design of the “To-Be” process in the OneVision Agency application by collaborating with internal technical teams like EDI/BizTalk development, IT architecture, QA, and functional teams, respecting current system capabilities and the program strategy. Setup of EDI messages within the OneVision Agency application. Create and maintain functional documentation related to business requirements for internal use and knowledge transfer to support teams. Test the EDI interface and related changes prior releasing it to internal stakeholders (UAT) and support the key users in testing activities. Provide functional support during hyper care/transition and regular support in case of issues in the production environment. Troubleshoot production issues (EDI transactions, business processes) with support teams and be a subject matter expert for other departments to provide functional guidance. Monitor and report project progress to all stakeholders involved. Be a contributor in the development of training material. Develop a mutually respectful working relationship with all staff members to ensure a strong team effort in all activities. Provide timely, complete, and accurate responses to all program customers’ questions and inquiries in a positive and constructive manner. Qualifications and Experience (P) = Preferred, (R) = Required General: Ability to effectively communicate functional and technical details to internal stakeholders (R) Well organized, excellent at time-management and able to communicate status to multiple parties inside the organization and to external providers (R) Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are a must (R) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (R) Positive and proactive approach (R) Experience in shipping and logistics (P) Technical: At least 5 years of experience with EDI, standard ANSI X12 and EDIFACT (R) Ability to trouble shoot: quickly analyzes and resolves issues (R) Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge (R) Knowledge of waterfall methodologies (R) BS or BA in computer science or an associated discipline, advanced degree preferable (P) At least 5 years of experience as business analyst (P) At least 5 years of experience in IT Projects (P) Knowledge on SQL, XML, basic concept on C# programming, source code versioning, CICD (P) Power BI, Azure DevOps, Service Now (P) Knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) (P) Knowledge of test me odologies and tools (P) Other: Ability to work in a multicultural environment in team or independently when needed (R) Fluency in English (oral and written), minimum B2; C1 preferable (R) Strong motivation to learn new skills in the areas shipping and EDI (R) Availability for travel as required (occasionally).
