We are currently recruiting Candidates for the position of Electrical & Instrumentation Specialist Junior for a client company based in Milan for a part time period Position title: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Consultant Department: Engineering Location: Milan (downtown) Role Description: The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of electrical and instrumentation engineering tasks, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Main Responsibilities: 1. Electrical & Instrumentation Design, Selection & Calibration o Assist in the design and selection and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems. 2. Elaboration and Analysis of P&IDs, I/O List, Instrument Data Sheets, Material List, and Cable List o Review and analyze Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). o Prepare and manage I/O lists, instrument data sheets, material lists, and cable lists. 3. Understanding of Wiring and Interconnecting Diagrams o Interpret and develop wiring and interconnecting diagrams, functional wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams. 4. Primary Electrical & Pneumatic Hook-Up Drawings o Develop the creation of electrical and pneumatic hook-up drawings for system integration. 5. Planimetric Studies o Conduct studies for the optimal positioning of electro-instrumental items and cable routing within project constraints . 6. Panel and Junction Box Layout Definition o Define and develop the layouts of control panels and junction boxes to ensure functionality and ease of maintenance. 7. Control System and Power Supply Schematic o Contribute to the preparation of schematics for control systems and power supply configurations. 8. Selection and Routing of Instrumental Cables o Select appropriate cable types and define optimal routing paths in alignment with project requirements. 9. Production of Material Take-Off (MTO) o Prepare accurate Material Take-Offs to facilitate procurement and construction planning. Qualification requirements : · 3-4 years’ experience in the role · Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial settings. · Familiarity with engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD) · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. · Good level Italian and English language (good reading/writing level) · Valid residence permit in Italy Duration: 4 Month Frequency: 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) Start: As soon as possible Working place: Milan downtown Remuneration for this position is negotiable depending on experience.
