Paralos Energy, a well-established energy projects construction company, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control and protection systems for various projects. These systems play a critical role in modern electrical grids, ensuring efficient and reliable power distribution and monitoring. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior engineering staff, project managers, and field technicians. Key Responsibilities: Develop and design control and protection systems for transmission and distribution networks. Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Select appropriate hardware and software components for control and protection systems. Conduct fault analysis and coordination studies. Perform load flow, short circuit, and selectivity studies. Design 2D and 3D control panels using Eplan Pro Panel. Create comprehensive cable and interconnection lists to ensure accurate and efficient control panel wiring. Manage project timelines and deliverables. Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure designs comply with relevant technical specifications, standards, and regulations. Stay updated with the latest advancements in control and protection technologies. Work closely with the commissioning team, project managers, and field technicians to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout project execution. Qualifications: Bachelorโs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in designing and implementing control and protection systems in transmission and distribution networks. Strong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Eplan Pro Panel). In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, fault analysis, and system protection. Experience with load flow, short circuit, and selectivity studies. Expertise in 2D and 3D panel design and the creation of cable and interconnection lists. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
