We are at the point where we need talented people with proven experience on large, international projects to help us continue this exciting growth. Within our Electrical Department in the Italy office we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will have the following duties and responsibilities Analyze project requirements in terms of international/local codes and global client’s standards, with special focus on HyperScale Data Centers connected to HV and MV network; Design the entire electrical system starting from utility connection, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and life safety systems, with dedicated software as Caneco, Autocad, Dialux and ETAP; Coordinate and check the BIM modelling of the electrical systems; Interface with multi office project and actively attend to the interdisciplinary engineering reviews needed to define and optimize the project; Produce electrical material quantities and check cost estimations; Define and issue Purchase Requisitions; Perform Technical Bid evaluation of Contractors quotations; Perform Vendor’s follow-up activities; Check and review electrical network studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash and protection settings analysis; Participate to Vendor inspection tests, with particular reference to HV/MV/LV switchgears, power transformers, Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) and Uninterruptible Power System (UPS); Provide all the necessary technical support during the entire life of the project including construction; Interface with DSO and TSO (ENEL and TERNA) for power application and follow-up; Design and implement sustainable and renewable solutions with the target to increase the overall efficiency of the system; Implement production, safety, quality, and customer-service standards; Control and ensure the correct application of the general rules and guidelines by all team members and all subcontractors involved in the activities; Contribute to the capitalization of project experience in order to improve and harmonize work methodologies through lessons learnt best practices and standards; Contribute to the internal standardization of the department and knowledge sharing. Here’s what you’ll need Electrical Engineering Master Degree; Electrical Engineering background with at least 3 years of experience, ideally in industrial plants and/or Data Centers; Strong Delivery and Quality focus; Fluency in Italian and English; Availability to frequent travels or short/long term assignments is required by the position; Strong communication skills and ability to work well with individuals (co-workers, clients, vendors) at all levels; High level of Safety awareness; Please submit your resume in English.
