We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer O&М of PV power plants near Arad city, Romania. As an Electrical Engineer O&M, you will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of PV systems, including inverters, solar trackers, transformers, BESS, SCADA, and grid compliance, while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Main responsibilities: Preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, inverters, transformers, and other plant components, including preparing verifications, tests procedure lists, ensuring compliance with technical standards and codes, Solarpro and employer requirements and H&S rules, as well as: Conduct corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical defects; Conducting various tests on systems and equipment to verify their functionality, performance, and safety; Inspecting the installation of systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.; Diagnose and resolve technical defects related to the equipment; Provide technical expertise to the O&M team regarding PV equipment; Propose and implement solutions to optimize energy production and system reliability; Supervise third-party contractors for specialized maintenance activities; Ensure that all activities will comply with the Romanian regulations and safety standards; Prepare reports on maintenance activities; Manage spare parts inventory and tools; Ensure adherence to HSE protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices; Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for O&M tasks. Your profile: Electrical technician, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; At least 2 years of experience in Operation and maintenance of PV power plants or similar electrical systems; Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment; Knowledge of solar PV system design, operation, and maintenance; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination; Ability to work independently and within a team.
