Our client is looking for an Electrical/Design Engineer in the Solar industry. Electrical Engineer takes initial solar PV system specifications and turns them into fully detailed construction-ready designs using AutoCAD. Working primarily on residential solar projects, the Electrical Engineer has a steady pipeline of diverse residential projects to design. Coordinating with internal team members, the Electrical Engineer balances the necessity of a solar solution with the efficiency of standard practices, including electrical design. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct engineering for projects in our pipeline • Verify initial system layout and equipment location • Complete system designs for PV projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling • Provide streamlined project information and a detailed bill of materials • Provide operations with engineering support as needed. • Understand the optimal design applications and design limitations of our products BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Competence in AutoCAD is mandatory • Experience with Aroura design software is nice to have • Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously • At least 1 year of design or engineering experience • Any additional experience with estimating or designing electrical systems is nice to have • BS degree in ME or EE or related discipline preferred • Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, electrical systems, and construction practices • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks promptly • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies WE OFFER Salary: 2500-3500€/month gross Paid vacation Working hours: 17:00-01:00 CEST (Mon-Fri) Show more Show less
