We’re looking for a student to pick up an assignment in the field of embedded software development. The assignment will be defined together and geared towards product development of LED drivers. You’ll be part of the Signify R&D LED Electronics team and its responsibilities are developing new innovative products, so innovation, open mindedness and challenging status quo must be in your DNA. What you’ll do Contribute to the product development of a wide variety of LED drivers Use state of the art tools (e.g. Copilot) to optimize embedded code and algorithms AI assisted creation and enhancement of unit tests for embedded C code Investigate testability of existing software packages and identify improvements for: Testing in isolation Testing multiple configurations Develop tools to support software development and testing Automate test result reporting (dashboard, test maturity, coverage) Your Qualifications Ready for graduation as Bachelor of Science in Embedded Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or a related study. Affinity with microcontrollers and passion for technology and innovations. Displaying a good level of spoken and written English. A team player with a creative mind yet being able to implement pragmatic solutions. A self-confident, self-motivated person who can work independently Our candidate profile is just a guide. In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter must be signed and stamped by your university.
