What we’re looking for We are looking for a colleague to coordinate site engineering activities related to electrical works, respectively environment, verifying technical solutions with focus on energy efficiency and optimization of electricity consumption including reporting and tracking results coming from these projects. The job involves also preparation of various tender specifications, performing bids technical and bill of quantities evaluation, participation to negotiations with various suppliers of electrical equipment and environment, electricity distributors and suppliers, validation of technical solutions related to electricity projects, as well as the validation of the bill of quantities related to these works What you’ll be doing Performs the design of technical solutions related to the power supply of mobile and fixed telecommunications sites, respectively of data centers; Elaboration and updating of technical specifications / procedures / work instructions for sites construction and modifications Management of subcontractors of electrical works and suppliers of electrical equipment (electrical transformers, UPSs, voltage stabilizers, power supplies, batteries, etc.) Checks and approves payments related to connection fees, electricity consumption invoices (verifies the accuracy of consumption), etc Analyzes colocation requests from the point of view of the possibility of energy supply, calculates their consumption Implementation of Smart metering systems and calculates energy consumed for other collocated parties on Orange Romania infrastructure for re -billing Performs reception in Orange tools of services and works provided by the electrical works subcontractors Performs audit of electrical works done by subcontractors Checks and approves sub-consumer / electricity supplier contracts Monitors the electricity market and the related legislative changes, respectively analyzes their impact on energy activities and budgets; Prepares company energy resources efficient usage measures plan in order to be submitted to MEEMA Preparation of feasibility studies for the implementation of electricity solutions from renewable sources Implementation, tracking, control and results reporting of ongoing initiatives and programs to reduce energy consumption Contributes to the preparation / management and reporting of procurement budgets for various telecom and environmental equipment Contributes to the preparation of reports (data collection and organize the data according to request) to various internal departments, to the Orange Group and various external entities according to legal obligations: ANRE, Ministry of Energy etc. and participate to audits What you need to know/have • Project management experience • Technical knowledge in electrical engineering, telecom and civil construction • Professional knowledge regarding legislation and regulation in force – ANRE, ISU, Energy • Telecom knowledge – fixed and mobile communications • Fluent English Requirements: • Bachelors Degree (Energy Engineering or Electrical Engineering) • Min 5 years of experience in projects on electrical works, environment • Min 3 years of experience in Data Centers (construction projects, expansion and compaction of Data Centers) • Nice to have: ANRE Certification and Certified Energy Audit Manager Show more Show less
