We are looking for an energetic and skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the Waste to Energy sector. Tasks Lead the commissioning activities for waste to energy projects, ensuring systems and equipment are tested and verified before handover to the client. Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to define and implement commissioning plans and strategies. Conduct inspections and functional tests on systems, including power generation and waste processing technologies, to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support during the commissioning phase, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of commissioning activities, including reports, checklists, and technical records. Train and assist operators and maintenance personnel on system operation and best practices during the commissioning process. Provide feedback to design and engineering teams related to commissioning experiences and findings, contributing to continuous improvement of project execution. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all commissioning activities. Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment. Requirements A degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering). At least 3 to 6 years of experience in commissioning within the waste management, energy, or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of waste to energy technologies and processes, including combustion, gasification, or anaerobic digestion. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to complex systems. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations applicable to waste to energy operations. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
