You create, own and are responsible for the application architecture that best serves a product in its functional and non-functional needs. What we will trust you with: Lead, coach and mentor a team of 3-4 Engineering Managers and a team of 40-100 top notch Engineers so they all learn, grow, and succeed. Strong People leadership, Mentoring and communication skills. Plan and prioritize work for your team, including collaborating with cross border teams. Provide oversight and accountability for technical decisions, architecture and technical deliverables Create an inclusive environment that attracts and retains high-performing engineers. You will collaborate with Product leaders, Business leaders, Architects, Program Managers, Development teams in an agile development environment. Constantly learn and grow as an Engineer and an Engineering leader. Demonstrate a passion for customers and technology. About You You have grown as a professional within the engineering career path and gained knowledge, experience, and expertise in significant tech products. You have led large-scale, cross functional teams and have created impactful products. Now, how will you use these achievements to make some real impact on the world? What you will need: Proven experience leading software cross-functional engineering teams, as a senior leader Extensive Software development experience in fast-paced product organizations Proven track record of developing product solutions Hands on experience building microservices architecture, applying design patterns and developing frameworks Experience in developing and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP and/or Azure) and cloud automation tools. Proficiency in any of the languages (Preferred Java, C#), Front-end technologies (react/angular), No-SQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), Elastic Search, Caching (Redis, Aerospike, dynatrace), Kafka, using containers e.g. Docker (K8, EKS etc) at scale. Good exposure to development tools, Git, Jenkins, code review tools & introducing best coding practices as well as rest APIs. Strong hands-on experience in enabling a CI &CD pipeline, canary deployments, blue green deployments in production. Work with the support team to define how the applications are supported in production, including system performance and monitoring & Strong database skills Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers Consistent track record for solution delivery, Quality improvements, Champion for agile scrum adoption.
