Your impact JACOBS is looking for a C ONTAMINATED SITE MANAGEMENT ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER to be located in the Milan Office. Jacobs is looking for an Environmental Project Manager, for the technical and managing support to exciting projects related to contaminated site management for a range of diverse client sectors, such as Industrial, Real Estate, Infrastructures, Energy, in Italy and abroad. Our ambition is to continue providing innovative and sustainable site remediation and regeneration solutions to address complex contamination issues, developing and adopting diverse technical approaches to our customers’ needs for a better world. By joining Jacobs you’ll be able to develop and cover a key role, with the opportunity to support the environmental team within a wide range of contaminated site remediation projects, for Italian and international clients. As project manager, you will have the following responsibilities Ensuring compliance with Company Quality, Environmental, H&S procedures; Managing activities related to the development of whole project life cycle, including scope development, budget and schedule preparation, subcontractor coordination, site visits, reporting; Building and maintain strong relationships with clients, and other project stakeholders; Being proactively involved in developing project delivery strategies; Providing project reporting and forecasting against the project; programs as per client and internal requirements; Establishing and managing the budget for project delivery. Here’s what you’ll need Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences (or equivalent); 5+ years of experience in contaminated site management projects, preferably for multinational private clients; Familiarity with diverse and innovative site characterization, risk assessment and remediation technologies, both in terms of design preparation, as well as related field activities; Strong understanding of Environmental Regulatory requirements (Dlgs 152/06, other related to the role); Experience in directly facing diverse project stakeholders, including clients, public authorities, project counterparts; Understanding of emerging environmental issues, such as PFAS; Ability to work in international environment and on multi-office projects, cooperating with the engineering teams and internal/external specialists; Leadership, commitment, and strong technical background, Attitude towards project team support and mentoring, to ensure the highest degree of professional performance; Fluent Italian and English language knowledge; Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills; Problem solving and team working skills including being able to rapidly engage with a team; High level of Safety Awareness.
