Adecco Romania is recruiting for its client, a major player in construction sector, an Estimator , for Bucharest. Job Purpose: The primary purpose of an Estimator is to analyze and prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that all expenses are considered, and the project is financially viable. Estimators play a critical role in the planning and budgeting phases of construction, manufacturing, engineering, and other industries by determining the resources, time, materials, and labor required for successful project completion. Their insights help the organization make informed decisions on project feasibility, profitability, and bidding strategies. Main Duties/Responsibilities Estimators work closely with many other professionals including consultants, contractors, accountants and operations personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis for their employers. Their duties often include: Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service Creating labor estimates for any project Managing bids from vendors and contractors Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders Compiling and recording actual costs Experience, qualifications and skills BSc/BA in engineering, construction science or relevant discipline Proven work experience as an Estimator or similar role Familiarity with financial and project management principles In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities Thoroughness and reliability Excellent organizational skills Show more Show less
