To strengthen the success gained, we are looking for a Facility Specialist to join our team in Milan. The role is part of the Facility & Construction function and aims to optimize and maintain the operational, aesthetic, and comfort standards across the entire network of stores in Italy. The candidate will collaborate with the Retail and Construction teams in the proactive and reactive management of all mandatory and operational maintenance activities for the built environment as well as the machinery within the stores. In addition to the activities described below, the candidate will be expected to contribute value to the ongoing optimization of new store construction by selecting equipment to improve performance and reduce maintenance costs. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE: Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for: Managing reactive maintenance activities (routine and extraordinary) by collaborating directly with Italian partners for domestic stores. Oversee maintenance requests from stores, ensuring timely resolution and coordinating repairs and inspections. Defining maintenance specifications and sharing them with relevant partners. Monitoring and reporting monthly maintenance costs. Analyzing maintenance data to collaborate with the Construction and Retail teams in optimizing technical and structural solutions. Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, including monitoring performance. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize disruptions and ensure store functionality. Track facility-related expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs. Act as the first point of contact for store managers regarding facility issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Ensure timely resolution of facility-related emergencies. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education : Diploma in Surveying (Geometra) or similar, or a degree in Engineering/Architecture. Proven experience in the retail sector. Proven project management experience . Knowledge of the operation of basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with ticketing systems for managing maintenance activities. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with store teams and partners. Attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Availability to travel between stores as needed and flexibility to handle emergencies outside regular working hours.
