Job description: METKA ΑΤΕ , as a subsidiary of METLEN, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, holding a seventh class contractor’s certificate and now specializes in construction activities, undertaking infrastructure projects such as road construction, certified buildings, railway, marine projects, etc., as well as solid and liquid waste management projects. We are currently looking for a Foreman to join our team based in Ydra. Your role will encompass: Supervise and coordinate various crews on construction on site Ensure safety of site personnel and machinery for the whole construction period. Ensure compliance with all HSE procedures, applicable by law policies and company policies Assist the site manager with reporting and progress & schedule monitoring Follow, update and revise the time plan and progress forecast of the project Develop detailed daily and weekly work plans to facilitate project schedule completion Verifying the adequacy of plans and construction resources in terms of manpower, material and equipment Identifies and communicates all application and installation concerns What you bring to the role: University degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) High level technical background in construction Proven track record in a similar role with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience Working knowledge of MS Office Languages: English essential Organizational skills / Critical thinking and problem solving skills Experience with environmental projects will be considered as a plus Your Benefits: Competitive remuneration package Group Health Insurance program Discount on the household electricity bill Pension Plan Show more Show less
