Position Summary The Front Office Manager will oversee all front desk operations, ensuring a seamless, personalized guest experience. This role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries and requests, and coordinating with other hotel departments. The Front Office Manager will ensure that all interactions reflect the high standards of service and hospitality at VIONE Paros, maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. A strong knowledge of VIONE Paros, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented approach are essential for this role. As Front Office Manager, you will lead a team focused on providing exceptional service and creating lasting memories for our guests. Key Responsibilities Anticipate and understand guest needs, adopting a proactive service orientation and adapting communication styles to create personalized, memorable experiences. Provide an exceptional guest experience by being efficient, knowledgeable, and intuitive, both before, during, and after the stay. Ensure professional, friendly service and handle guest complaints, crises, and urgent situations with poise. Monitor reservations and communicate effectively with Tour Operators (TOs) and Travel Agents (TAs). Ensure optimal room allocation and smooth coordination with the Housekeeping department for arrivals. Lead and train front desk staff to ensure high service standards are maintained. Create and manage staff shift schedules to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with all hotel departments, ensuring communication is clear and all guest needs are met. Support the hotel’s operations during peak demand periods. Adhere to departmental standards, objectives, and goals, contributing to the overall success of the hotel. Experience Previous experience in a similar role at a 4* or 5* hotel, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory position. Experience working with the Protel PMS system is a plus. Skills & Knowledge Fluent in both written and spoken English. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-oriented approach. Self-motivated and eager to develop new skills and knowledge. Able to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of professionalism. Education & Qualifications A degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Travel, or a related field is preferred, though not required. Requirements A commitment to consistently providing high standards of customer service. Strong understanding of the values needed for exceptional guest service, such as empathy, a customer-centric mindset, and cultural sensitivity.
