We are looking for a Functional Tester to join our banking client’s team. The main objective of the role is to minimize the risk of incidents and optimize the quality of IT applications, while reducing the costs and lead times of IT projects and maintenance projects. Your responsibilities will include: Participating in the construction and maintenance of the test repository for the assigned perimeter to ensure sustainability Covering all stages of the testing process, including acceptance strategy, test specification drafting, test campaign organization and execution, anomaly analysis and validation, and report preparation. Ensuring compliance with test methodologies, including prerequisites implementation (installations, configurations, data sets) and test management tools. Collaborating with users and development teams to manage queries, address inconsistencies, and validate corrections. Contributing to Non-Regression Tests, automation file specifications, user documentation, and internal workshops to improve service quality. Required technical skills: 4+ years of experience in test analysis, design, and quality assurance, with expertise in software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools, particularly within the financial industry and large organizations Very good knowledge of OpenText Quality Center Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins, SQL, MS Windows, MS Office, Excel / VBA Nice to have – knowledge of Robot Framework This position is hybrid in Bucharest (3 days/week on site).
