If yes, you might be our new Grid Advisor! We provide you with the opportunity to join a group of professionals and develop business further in the Technical Engineering Team. Etha has been in the business since 2002 and has been a part of the planning and implementing a great portion of all Finnish wind power, nowadays growingly contributing also to solar, BESS and hydrogen projects. Our mission is to provide superior services supporting sustainable energy development – to improve quality of life for everyone. As Grid Advisor you will work with securing connections to the grid for renewable energy and storage projects. The task requires a profound understanding of grid connections and their main components, grid codes, power line and substation design and their development. The task includes close cooperation with Project Managers, providing internal and external support and expertise in grid connections planning, implementation and contracts. You will also participate in sales processes. Your final job description will be shaped based on your previous experience and areas of interest. It is also possible to proceed to a senior role for an experienced candidate. You will succeed in this role if You have solid experience on working with grid connections and grid requirements in Finland You have, for instance, an MSc degree in Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field You are fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken You’re a doer and motivated to see the impact of your work You can perform well under pressure and with tight schedules Good financial skills, interest in procurement as well as an understanding of permitting processes are considered an asset. You can work in one of Etha’s offices in Helsinki, Oulu, Tampere or Vaasa. Our work is guided by our values.
