Established in 2008 as a spin-off from DTU-Risรธ (Technical University of Denmark), we employ a diverse and dedicated team of 35 professionals across our offices in Denmark and China. Our pioneering WindEYE and WindVISION LiDAR systems are used worldwide by leading wind turbine manufacturers and major wind-farm owners. These advanced optical units, utilizing light reflection and the Doppler effect principles, equip wind turbine controllers with precise wind measurements. This is all achieved in the demanding conditions at the top of the nacelle. The Job We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to improve and maintain product quality, support sourcing and production chain and lay down testing procedures. You will be a part of a growing development team, getting an insight into the development cycle, state of the advanced optical measuring device and embedded product manufacturing. Your job will be to get a comprehensive understanding of the products, make test strategies, draft hardware specification, participate in talks with suppliers and supervise our in-house production facility. You will have the possibility to influence the content of your role according to your specialization and the career path you want to follow. Your Profile Key Responsibilities: Maintain and optimize existing hardware designs and products Perform design reviews and validation for new products Draft technical documentation and specifications Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues using laboratory electronic equipment Conduct circuit design, analysis, and simulation Create PCB designs using ECAD software Prototype electronic designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components The ideal profile we are looking for is hands-on, cross-discipline, team-player with: A degree within engineering, natural sciences or similar, An analytical mindset and excellent technical problem-solving skills, Experience with laboratory electronic equipment is preferred, Experience with circuit design, analysis and simulation is preferred, Experience in PCB design and layout tools is preferred, Mechanical design is a plus, An autonomous and proactive attitude, Ambition to become part of a young, enthusiastic, international development team in an informal workplace, Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) Join us as we make strides towards a more sustainable future powered by renewable energy!
