Job Description The role DP World in Europe is going through a structural change and moving from a vertical led business to a geographical cluster led model. Our Eastern Cluster will cover Turkey, Adriatic and the Balkan countries and we are looking for a senior commercial leader to help develop and lead the strategic commercial vision for the cluster. This is a brand new role within the organisation and we are looking for someone who can provide a fresh way of thinking. This is a unique opportunity where you will be developing new business and strategy for the cluster whilst being part of a well established and well financed business. The focus will be around contract logistics and we are looking for rapid growth within that vertical alongside supporting customer development so that we can meet and exceed their expectations. You will be supported by the infrastructure within DP World as well as the capital investment needed to help realise your strategic vision. This role will allow you to define your career as you will be instrumental in driving revenue for the cluster whilst developing a long term vision taking advantage of the global support from our other regions. You will be expected to be involved in operational activity and provide direction and mentorship for your direct reports as well as utilising your network to help drive business opportunities. You will be a visionary commercial leader who is looking to change the culture from within the cluster to becoming more collaborative and thinking big picture where the customer is the focus of the strategy. This role is part of the senior leadership team for the cluster and as such you will be driving the long term vision and strategy for the cluster and be involved in decisions that affect the overall direction. This role will be looking for someone who enjoys developing new business but is looking for a new challenge in an organisation that values autonomy and visionary ideas. So, who are we looking for? Key Skills And Experience Extensive experience within the transport, logistics or freight forwarding industry (or similar service industry) with a blue chip organisation and with a strong background in sales leadership/management roles Experience of developing and growing a contract logistics portfolio in either Turkey, the Balkans or the Adriatic A strong track record of success and the ability to exceed targets on a regular basis A strategic and visionary commercial leader who also enjoys getting involved in day to day sales processes. Knowledge and experience of complex supply chain drivers across the value chain, with experience selling end-to-end solutions. Strong stakeholder management skills and has the ability to manage complex and nuanced relationships across a matrix global corporate business.
