We are looking for an experienced Sr. leader to head up the Group FP&A team in Falck. The role holds great impact on steering financial performance across Falck working closely together with Executive management and seasoned finance leaders. The Head of Group FP&A is responsible for leading a team of 5, guiding and supporting financial steering and planning processes incl. forecasting, target setting, performance management frameworks and analysis supporting executive management team in decision making. This role hence involves providing strategic financial insights to drive financial performance and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. Transparent and proactive communication to relevant stakeholders will be key as well as structured approach to managing multiple priorities at the same time. The role is expected to help drive business performance through proactive dialogue with senior managers and the executive management team. About The Job The role is global i.e. responsible to develop, implement and anchor FP&A processes across business units. This requires a solid understanding of the business as well as good relations with stakeholders. Some of the job headlines include: Strategic Planning: Lead long-term financial planning and collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives. Financial Forecasting : Manage the and refine forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work closely with Business Finance Officers across Business Units (BU) and implement best practices and continuous improvements across the process and data quality. Financial Analysis : Lead and oversee the preparation of financial management reports, forecasts-, and variance analyses. Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain financial models to support business performance management and decision-making. Reporting and Communication: Prepare financial reports to executive team members and Board of Directors incl. identification of key focus areas. Communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Financial Steering: Leading and developing the performance management framework supporting best-in-class financial steering. Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management. Develop and implement business intelligence tools and dashboard reports in collaboration with BI team. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Set clear objectives and provide regular feedback and development opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial accountability and transparency. About You To succeed in the role, you possess a strong mix of strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, business acumen and communication skills. Experience: Sr profile with +10 years’ experience working in International Corporate Finance / FP&A. Experience running corporate planning cycles, implementing new processes, and acting as the lead on multiple projects. Leadership experience, preferably from a transformational and complex situation Turnaround and cost optimization experience. Proven experience of translating business analysis, requirements definition and business case production into practical implementation Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Result- and process oriented, takes responsibility for driving things forward actively engaging teams across Falck. Excellent people management and collaboration skills. Strategic, commercial, and analytical approach to problem scoping, solution and execution Business acumen at the core of the role Strong communicator (verbal and in writing) mastering development of structured and to-the-point presentations. Expert planning, structure- and organizational skills A relevant master’s degree or similar (preferable in finance, economics, or business administration) Fluent in English Experience from working with business intelligence tools is an advantage.
