About the Role We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to take a leading role in designing and implementing rugged embedded IoT devices for harsh environments. This position requires translating complex business requirements into technical solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge products to life. Key Responsibilities Design and Develop IoT Hardware: Lead the development of industrial IoT hardware solutions, from conception to production, focusing on reliability and performance in challenging environments. Circuit Design & PCB Layout: Utilize your experience in digital electronics and PCB design using tools like Altium or similar EDA CAD software for schematic capture and layout. Peripheral Interfaces: Work with various peripheral interfaces, including UART, I2C, and SPI, ensuring seamless communication within embedded systems. Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering tools to validate hardware performance and functionality. Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and foster a collaborative team environment to achieve project goals. Collaborate: Work closely with Firmware, Software, and Mechanical Engineers to ensure hardware design aligns with overall product objectives. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years in hardware engineering, focusing on embedded systems for IoT applications. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading engineering projects and guiding a team towards successful project completion. Technical Skills: Strong background in digital electronics, PCB design, and experience with embedded MCUs. Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with EDA CAD software (e.g., Altium), debuggers/programmers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering equipment. Knowledge of Telecom Modules: Familiarity with embedded telecommunication modules and network protocols (e.g., GSM/GPRS, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN). Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Language: Excellent communication skills in English. Why Join Us?
