By combining asset financing, fintech, AI-based underwriting, and proprietary car portals we enable these local entrepreneurs (motorcycle taxi riders, Uber/Bolt drivers, and small business owners) to find and purchase their own vehicles. As the Head of Vehicle Finance, you will be at the forefront of our operations, steering our growth strategy in one of our most exciting markets. NB: Relocation to Kampala, Uganda is required. What you will need: Proven success in a senior leadership role, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence and achieving key performance targets, preferably within the financial services or a related industry A strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level business goals into efficient operational plans that enhance productivity and contribute to the organization’s overall success Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders A self-starter who proactively takes the initiative to drive change and improvement Will be considered as an advantage: A track record of international experience or working in diverse, multicultural teams What you will do: Lead Vehicle Finance Team to become a leading player in the market Manage and oversee daily operational activities with focus on efficiency Substantially increase the size of the loan portfolio by expanding operations geographically, introducing new products, and increasing the number of partners and intermediaries across the entire market Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the company, making data-driven decisions to maximize profitability Strengthen the team with experienced professionals who are eager to grow, take ownership, and lead their respective areas with a strong focus on delivering results Increase company brand awareness across the market and build a solid marketing, sales, and operations mechanism within the organization Represent the company and engage in negotiations with various stakeholders, including regulatory, clients, partners, and industry associations With us you will get: An adventure of a lifetime Competitive and motivational salary package incl. results-oriented bonus system Multicultural professional team and dynamic work environment Personal and professional development Open feedback culture Professional multicultural team Housing monthly budget Relocation budget (flights ) Discover & Enjoy Africa!
