The J unior Human Resources Assistant is an entry-level position that supports the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in human resources and gain hands-on experience in HR functions. The Junior HR Assistant will assist in recruitment, employee onboarding, record-keeping, and other HR-related activities, contributing to a positive workplace culture and effective HR operations. Main tasks: Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and managing applications. Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers. Participate in the initial screening of resumes and applications. Onboarding and Orientation: Help facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing welcome materials and conducting orientation sessions. Ensure that new hires complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the preparation of HR reports and documentation as needed. HR Administration: Support the HR team in various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and responding to employee inquiries. Assist in organizing employee training sessions and development programs. Employee Engagement: Help coordinate employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, recognition programs, and surveys. Gather feedback from employees to support a positive workplace culture. Compliance and Policy Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Help communicate HR policies and procedures to employees. General Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior HR staff. Job Skills & Requirements: Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the HR field. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
