Your job: An in-house IT Consultant specializing in Manufacturing & Planning with a focus on SAP Production Planning (PP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and optionally SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), plays a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes through advanced IT solutions. Here are some key aspects of your job purpose: System Implementation, Configuration and Documentation : Responsible for implementing, configuring and documenting SAP PP, IBP, and optionally SAP PM modules to align with the organization’s manufacturing and planning processes. This involves customizing the system, specifying and implementing developments to meet specific business requirements Process Optimization : Analyze existing manufacturing and maintenance processes to identify opportunities for improvement. By leveraging SAP PP, IBP, and PM, they streamline production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance activities to enhance overall efficiency Integration and Coordination : Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP, IBP, and PM with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Quality Management (QM). This coordination is crucial for maintaining data consistency and operational harmony User Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using SAP PP, IBP, and PM functionalities. This includes developing training materials and conducting workshops to enhance user competence Troubleshooting and Maintenance : Troubleshoot issues related to SAP PP, IBP, and PM modules, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing and maintenance operations. Regular system maintenance and updates are also part of your responsibilities to keep the system running smoothly Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP technologies and industry best practices. By incorporating new features and improvements (e.g. use of AI), they continuously enhance the manufacturing, planning, and maintenance processes. Key responsibilities: Act as a global In-house IT Consultant (Lighting & Tridonic): Consult the business to implement best practice solutions and drive global standardization/harmonization initiatives towards manufacturing & planning. Learn and become an expert in application around Manufacturing & Planning solutions (SAP/PP, SAP/IBP, SAP/PM, SAC, Power BI) Develop solutions based on the above-mentioned systems to meet the business requirements. To develop new Manufacturing & Planning processes based on Zumtobel Smart Manufacturing philosophy. Identifying user needs, documentation of requirements, and translate those into proper system requirements specification Global IT-supported enterprise process and system solutions for the Zumtobel Group to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness Support the global program initiative to digitalize Manufacturing Execution and implement an End-to-End integrated Planning solution Perform problem and root cause analysis, and find solutions. To create and ensure proper System- and process documentation. 3rd Level Support. Your profile: Business process expertise: Have Business Process understanding in Manufacturing Management & Planning (S&OP, Demand, and Production Planning) Technical Expertise in SAP S/4HANA: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA platform, specifically the modules related to planning (e.g., SAP/PP, SAP/IBP; optional SAP/PM). Problem-Solving: Uses critical thinking and structured approaches to analyze challenges within the Manufacturing & planning process, proposing effective, data-driven solutions. Cross-Functional Communication: Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex SAP manufacturing, planning, and plant maintenance functions into accessible information for various teams. Have very good presentation and communication skills to move confidently in everyday project life.
