Galileo Global Education Italia is looking for a: IT Senior Application Integration Engineer The IT Senior Application Integration Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, development and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, hardware and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the GGE Italia & Institutions serving as an API and integration evangelist, acting as a trusted advisor in guiding towards the realization of the business outcome. Key purpose of the role: Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks and process Design, develop, prototype, and deliver APIs, integrations and applications to include commercial or open-source integration platforms in varied deployment models (cloud-based, on-premise or hybrid), to respond to GGEI & Institutions needs for cost-efficiency, competitive offering, and agility to react to new business opportunities Building and delivering Proofs of Concepts (PoCs) Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project Develop and maintain an application integration architecture blueprint for the organization Lead the continuous improvement of business processes, practices and delivery of change management Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures Monitor integrations performance and apply improvements Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise Architecture Act as the technical expert ensuring assistance with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution Identify gaps in available integration services and work on remediation strategies to ensure stability as the underlying platform technologies continue to evolve Required Skills: A passion for all things tech and has a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business Expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project management Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time Experience with Agile methodologies, as well as more traditional structured approaches Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices. Five plus years of experience in the webMethods integration platform Strong knowledge of webMethods DevOps concept, expertise in webMethods Designer, My webMethods, webMethods Integration Server Extensive experience in webMethods service deployment, analysis and debugging Experience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery and regression test of commercial software Experience working with database integration including strong SQL coding skills Technical competency in WM flow/java services, web services, business process model development/testing and deployment, WS-Security, and SOAP Experience working and developing with Java and Node.js Experience working with ETL Knowledge of main web development patterns Desirable Skills: Experience working with API’s from Salesforce CRM Experience working on Confluence and Jira Experience in developing web applications with Spring Boot (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Batch…) The following are considered strong assets: Knowledge of SoftwareAG Webmethods.io Experience working with integration of SAP Business One Show more Show less
