Greenvolt Power is seeking a Junior Construction Engineer to support renewable energy projects in Hungary. You will actively contribute to the construction and management of utility-scale solar PV and onshore wind projects. Key accountabilities Collaboration in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements, contract discussions. Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers (Pre-Executive design) and BOP Contractors. Supervision of the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers. Definition, preparation and control of the documentation to be able to start timely the construction of the Assist in the technical preparation for project execution, including drafting and reviewing technical documentation and supporting tendering processes. Support for the senior team in evaluating and understanding project design drawings and participating in discussions with designers and Balance of Plant (BOP) contractors. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with Building Permits, safety standards, and quality requirements. Coordination with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Legal, Accounting) to ensure smooth information flow during the construction phase. Assistance in supervising external suppliers and contractors, ensuring services and products meet project specifications. Preparation and update of the construction schedules to support the timely and cost-effective delivery of renewable energy projects. Contribution to the management of project documentation, including payment approval processes and progress reports. Support risk assessments and propose solutions for project challenges under the guidance of senior engineers. Reporting project progress and status to internal stakeholders, highlighting any potential risks or delays. Qualifications Engineering background (preferable Electrical/Civil Engineer). Up to 3 years of experience in renewable energy, construction, or related engineering fields. Experienced in Interconnections and Parks. Basic knowledge of solar PV and wind energy systems and associated components. Familiarity with project management tools and software (MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Office). Familiarity with the components and technical equipment usually installed in large-scale onshore wind, solar PV plants and high voltage lines and substations. Negotiation skills and problem solving. Strong interpersonal and communicative abilities. Strong analytical skills. · Availability to travel. Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers and BOP Contractors. Good reporting and teamwork skills.
