We’re looking for a highly motivated Maintenance & Facility Manager to join our Construction Retail team based in our HQ in Milan! Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will have direct contact with all our stores in Europe and you will coordinate the maintenance and facilities work, both planned and reactive. Our Retail channel is very dynamic and growing quickly, and is central for the development of our company, with direct stores in Italy and more in the rest of Europe (UK, France & Germany). Key Responsibilities: Store Maintenance & Support: Oversee planned and reactive maintenance for all stores, serving as the primary point of contact for external suppliers. Conduct regular site visits to assess maintenance needs and ensure compliance with operational standards. Provide comprehensive administrative support for all facility management-related topics. Budget & KPI Management: Monitor maintenance KPIs and budgets for each store, consolidating reports to evaluate performance and validate monthly expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality is not compromised. Service Coordination & Equipment Management: Review and approve service work quotations, manage purchase orders through the ERP system, and process service callout reports. Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for extraordinary maintenance tasks, including urgent interventions for critical equipment and building issues. Machinery & Temperature Monitoring: Organize and manage the transfer of machinery as needed. Oversee the installation and monitoring of temperature sensors within stores to maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with store teams to monitor the performance and condition of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Documentation, Audits & Training: Manage the archiving of maintenance documentation and perform data entry tasks. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that maintenance practices meet the organizationโ€™s standards. Train and develop the skills of maintenance staff globally, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Ideal Candidate: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Architecture or Engineering. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in facility management, demonstrating a deep understanding of operational standards and best practices in a retail environment. Exceptional organizational skills and strong project management capabilities, with a proven track record of executing projects efficiently and with high quality. Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting, and PowerPoint for presentations. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar systems, as well as knowledge of AutoCAD for design and layout purposes. Tenacious and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to effectively multitask and prioritize competing demands, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy. Fluent in English, both oral and written, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration and maintaining a can-do attitude to support retail store teams and operations.
