What You ‘ll Be Doing: Participate in the mechanical design, development and integration of state-of-the-art defense products. Involve in the development of Defense Hybrid Power Systems, with a focus on Diesel Generator Sets, encompassing the complete development cycle from system requirements specification, design, analysis, technical data package, prototype development, integration, prototype testing and installation, field trials, safety requirements and manufacturing processes. Work-Life Balance initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Required: Bachelor/Technical University/School Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Proven working (including hands-on) experience of several years in setup, sizing, maintenance, integration, and commissioning of Diesel Engine Generators. Knowledge and understanding of the entire Diesel Engine-Alternator coupling, control and functions both for VAC and VDC outputs. Working knowledge of relevant materials, tooling & fabrication process principles. Good understanding of mechanical drawing rules. Desired: Knowledge and experience of relevant manufacturing processes and the constraints they impose on the design. Knowledge of MIL Stds, Ergonomic Design, and Product Safety requirements (DIN ISO 8528, EC Directives etc). Work experience with CAD/CAE tools. Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to take initiative and motivation to drive results. Very good planning and time-management skills.
