This is an exciting and rare opportunity for someone to join our vibrant and rapidly growing team as a Global Investment Analyst. Global Investment at Omnicom Media Group The Global Investment team is a dedicated unit to drive value creation and monitor and deliver media buying commitments to our well established and growing client base. It is built around experienced media traders, auditors and analysts whose job is to share and apply investment best practice across our global network and ensure that our clients always receive the best media value and investment guidance. The team play a vital role quantifying and tracking media buying performance across all Omnicom Media Group markets for global clients. We strive to define new ways of measuring media value to ensure we continue to lead the industry in this area. Your principal responsibilities include: Monitor and analyse OMG network media buying performance using our internal software system. Collect data from markets – checking and cleansing for accuracy Work closely with the Omnicom Media Group buying community to deliver client reporting and understanding of buying performance and market context. Collaborate with markets to capture specific detail for our client work. Participate in opportunities to share best practice. Collaborate with external media auditing companies Rotational participation in pitches to understand how investment value model is crafted, articulated, and delivered to current and prospective clients. Deliver your individual objectives in line with the OMG capabilities: Commercial Acumen, Team Player, Client Builder and Craftsmanship. Your success will be measured based on the quality and timeliness of data collection and reporting/media performance analysis, your participation in value creation, your teamwork and effective collaboration with our local markets. Desired Experience We are looking for someone with analytical skills and a foundation in working with data in excel and an interest in working in a global capacity, we will train the rest. You should also have strong interpersonal and written communication skills and a keen desire to progress your professional skills. An interest in the media industry is a must, but we do not require someone with prior media experience. We are more interested in finding someone who is interested in building their career and learning about our business, whether that be a change of career direction, a return to work or starting out on your career.
