OVERVIEW Anzurra is proud to partner with KOSMOS in the hiring of an Associate Director – Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor – in Copenhagen, Denmark. From Limerick & Copenhagen we provide specialized cost management advice to our customers at all stages of the construction project lifecycle. ABOUT YOU We are looking for an experienced MEP Specialist Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. A recognised qualification in mechanical / building services engineering. i.e. BEng / MEng or significant demonstrable experience (preferable) A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle (essential) Professionally qualified RICS or similar, or working towards (essential) Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time (essential) Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients (essential) Knowledge & contacts within the MEP supply chain (essential) Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services (preferable) Commercially astute with good negotiation skills (essential) Excellent people person and great communicator, both client facing and team based (essential) Experience of working with global clients (preferable) Software skills: CostX (preferable), BIM (preferable), Microsoft application (Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, etc) (essential), SharePoint (essential)A recognised qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management. (Level 7/ Degree) (preferable) WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan to clients Working with our BIM experts to produce detailed 4D/5D estimates using the data from within our clients’ models. Tendering and procurement support for our clients, including producing ICMS based BoQ’s, analysis of tender returns Running risk management sessions and managing project risks Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client Inputting into value engineering Assisting with negotiating and agreeing final accounts Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities Occasional international travel along with the opportunities to visit all our offices to allow for greater integration into our KOSMOS community WHAT WE SUPPLY KOSMOS offers a fun and ever-changing work environment where you will be an integral part of a growing company.
