Merchandiser and sales support As part of our growth and sales support strategy, we are currently looking for a merchandiser and sales support professional to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth by retaining, maintaining and growing the existing clientele (major retailers), developing new clients, and capitalizing on sales opportunities, while staying hands-on in operational tasks. This position operates independently, outside of a traditional office environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working autonomously and in close collaboration with the Marketing team. Demonstrating strong self-motivation and accountability in achieving their objectives. Responsibilities Daily visits to supermarkets to check the products availability, visibility and shelf-positioning Cultivate relationships and collaborate with in-store key-contacts/managers ensuring shelf-planogram Organizing and running in-store point of sales promotions in collaboration with our Romanian team Coordinating with our sales support & logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to stores Ability to develop and maintain retail accounts with relevant communications that includes phone calls, emails, visits, samples, meetings and can-do attitude. Weekly Reporting and producing sales projections / monitoring competition, pricing, offers, shelf images and ideas that are trending in the market Seek and Develop HORECA market opportunities Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage Researching and monitoring industry trends and consumer market research Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures Qualifications Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Sales or Marketing Relevant working experience in merchandising with proven track record of at least 2 years of working in B2B sales development in the food retail sector. Experience in the category of olive oil will be considered a plus Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Romanian and English, Greek will be considered as a plus ยท Strong negotiation, presentation and decision-making skills Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of MS Office (advanced Excel skills), ERP, CRM Can-do attitude & innovative thinking The ideal candidate should be comfortable working autonomously and in close collaboration with the Marketing team.
