The MLPM role helps support both strategic and tactical supply decisions that are being taken (in the mid/long term horizon) across the entire Zentiva portfolio being produced in both the manufacturing sites, as well as across the CMO network. These supply decisions impact areas that include; production, capacity utilization, budgeting, management of service, inventory, launch coordination and industrial project teams MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Work with strategic procurement developing supply strategies based on the market outlook, ensuring business KPIs are being met. Support to the Global Supply Review – in the mid/long term horizon: Provide response to commercial demand requirements Present supply data including: supply commitment from manufacturing sites, launch/transfer plans, current supply performance, major supply risks and any future supply escalations Mobilize sites & external supply organization representatives for the mid/long term horizon using analysis including financial planning & budget generation process, aligning information gathering, data validation, supply constraint Support reductions in complexity: oversee all cross-site & CMO escalations for supply constraint in the mid/long term horizon – look to resolve before they impact to supply Responsible for following up on any planning actions that anticipate supply constraint in the mid/long term horizon (ie. follow the agreed action plan and seek for resolution: make or buy, pre-production, dual sourcing etc) Consolidate capacity capabilities and ensure consistency in calculation across the manufacturing sites and CMO network. Manage all cross-site supply risk topics – within the mid/long term horizon – and ensure timely execution of any agreed mitigating actions by the respective site team (ie. transfers, raw material constraints, cross-site sharing, inventory transfers, alternate source production) Implement the company strategy for projected inventory holding (in the mid/long term horizon) supporting decisions to maximize economic value (monitoring cash and storage cost – rupture risk value) COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal Partners: Manufacturing Sites, QA, RA, Compliance, FP Procurement, ESO (CMO), Launches / Transfers / M&A, Industrial, Business Development, Commercial and other functions supporting directly to Affiliates/Global External Partners: Suppliers (CMO), 3PL WH & Logistic providers HARD SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Minimum 3-4 years experience of production planning and capacity management in regulated industry (preferably generics pharma) or FMCG Experience of production planning across global geographies Experience of planning with 3rd party suppliers (CMOs) Experience of CMO supplier management (preferred) Good working knowledge of requirement planning and/or MRP Proven understanding of production planning activities including: min/max capacity management, m/c changeover, clean-downs, maintenance, routings etc Proven understanding of Supply Chain including: demand & stock management, prod/scheduling processes, capacity management, monthly reporting, CMO supply, WH & Logistics, S&OP – KPI tracking etc Proven analytical skills – able to produce data/reports with a high degree of accuracy English: Advanced level (other languages are an advantage) SOFT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Problem-solver: able to identify issues and implement corrective actions Able to act independently (within a defined area of responsibility) Collaborative mind-set – able to bring people together to get work done Reliable – consistently deliver on what they promise Having a customer orientated mind-set Good written/oral communication skills – able to confidently present to team, peers & leadership alike Able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a clear focus on business objectives Comfortable with elements of ambiguity, not distracted from the required outcome Show more Show less
