Role description You will be responsible for ensuring that the lab continues to meet the need of internal customers across the business. Proactively and reactively manage, maintain and troubleshoot physical and logical issues across a range of high-performance network equipment in a replica environment of Sky’s production network. Drive innovation and foster collaboration within the team by identifying efficiencies and implementing new solutions. Skills and Experience – Strong background in networking, preferably with experience in a Telco environment. – Hands on experience and understanding of Routing & Switching technologies such as ISIS, OSPF, MPLS and BGP. CCNP or equivalent certification would be an added advantage. – Experience working with Cisco platforms (IOS XE, IOS XR) and Palo Alto firewalls. – Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. – Strong written and verbal communication skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a team that operates in multiple locations. – Knowledge of the Microsoft suite, specifically Excel and Visio – Experience configuring and managing servers and virtualization – Experience with Python scripting Show more Show less
