About BYD Auto Hungary On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base. BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Non-standard design engineer to join our Auto Parts Division. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for completing the preliminary design of non-standard equipment and tooling fixtures, delivering implementation budgets and technical agreements, and organizing comprehensive reviews of project plans with clients to ensure customer requirements are met. Responsible for the detailed design of non-standard equipment, production lines, and tooling fixtures, producing 3D/2D technical documentation and drawings, BOMs, and lists of purchased components, and providing information on relevant resource suppliers to ensure the quality and schedule of incoming materials. Lead effective communication with electrical engineers regarding the functionality and control plans of non-standard equipment and production lines, and optimize project plans accordingly Coordinate the processing, assembly, and project design progress of non-standard equipment, production lines, and tooling fixture drawings, providing technical support to ensure efficient project completion. Responsible for the acceptance of non-standard equipment, production lines, and tooling fixtures, delivering related acceptance documents such as user manuals, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics, while providing acceptance criteria, technical conditions, and requirements. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in mechanical engineering, automation, process equipment, or related fields, with more than 3 years of work experience; proficiency in English and Hungarian is required, and fluency in Chinese is a plus. Familiarity with the structure and principles of production site equipment, with the ability to improve mechanical and electrical performance. Proficient in the principles and working environments of mechanical transmission, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics; well-versed in safety production requirements with a strong awareness of safety. Excellent communication skills, clear thinking, strong execution, and a strong sense of responsibility.
