Nadara has partnered with BlueFloat Energy to develop and deliver floating offshore wind farms off the costs of Puglia, Calabria and Sardinia. The projects could deliver more than 5,5 GW of offshore wind capacity and are scheduled to be complete by the end of the decade, subject to securing consent and commercial arrangements. The partnership between the two companies is based on Nadara’ in-depth knowledge of the Italian industry and energy sector, combined with BlueFloat Energy’s technical expertise in floating offshore wind, unique at global level. Nadara and BlueFloat Energy recognize the strong potential of floating offshore wind technology in Italy for the renewable energy production, which will significantly contribute to the country’s energy transition and autonomy, while fully respecting ecosystems. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onshore Civil Package Manager to lead the civil engineering aspects of the onshore aspects of a cutting-edge floating offshore wind farm project in Italy. This role focuses initially across Pre-CfD, pre-FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and FEED stages, where you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all onshore civil engineering activities, ensuring the project meets its technical, budgetary, and scheduling goals . Key Responsibilit ies1) Project Leaders hipLead the onshore civil engineering package for the floating offshore wind farm project, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requiremen ts.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, and marine engineers, as well as environmental specialis ts.Coordinate with offshore and manage onshore interface between onshore and offshore elements of the project at landfa ll.2) Technical responsibilit iesSupport the entire project team in achieving and maintaining successful Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval, ensuring all onshore civil engineering activities comply with EIA requirements and contribute to sustainable project outcom es.Develop and manage onshore civil engineering design packages during the pre-CfD, pre-FEED and FEED stag es.Manage the development of onshore civil scope as required per project phase, with focus on design development and construction and commissioning activiti es.Ensure the design complies with relevant standards, codes, and best practic es.Oversee onshore site investigations, surveys, and geotechnical studies to inform design decisio ns.3) Stakeholder Managem entAct as Project leading interface for onshore civil scope between global project team and local internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and local authoriti es.Present project updates and technical information to stakeholders in a clear and concise mann er.4) Planning and Coordinat ionDevelop detailed work plans and schedules for onshore civil engineering activities together with the project plann er.Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure onshore construction schedules alignm entMonitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays proactive ly.5) Risk Managem entHelp Identifying potential risks across all project stages and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity, bankability and safe ty.Ensure all civil engineering activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulatio ns.6) Documentation and Technical Report ingPrepare and review technical reports, specifications, and design documentati on.Develop documentation for and support procurement processes for civil onshore packag es.After contract award follow-up Contractor to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget, and schedu le.Provide Contractor with input, clarifications and maintain contact as necessa ry.Maintain comprehensive project records and ensure accurate documentation of all civil engineering activiti es. Qualificat ionsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Master’s degree prefer red.Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil/onshore construction engineering for large infrastructures, with at least 5 years in offshore/onshore wind proje cts.Proven track record of managing civil engineering packages during the pre-FEED and FEED stages of large-scale infrastructure proje cts.Experience working on floating offshore wind projects is highly desira ble.Strong leadership and project management ski lls.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilit ies.Proficiency in civil engineering design software and project management to ols.Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spo ken.Practical knowledge of Construction Law and large-scale investment processes in It aly.Team oriented with well-developed interpersonal and co-operation ski lls.Commercial awareness and good understanding of total value ch ain.Target driven and with a continuous improvement dr ive.
