Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced candidate to spearhead efforts in reducing costs and driving efficiency across critical fulfillment processes, including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery. This role will focus on enhancing supply chain performance while maintaining high service standards in the competitive Western European e-commerce market. Key Responsibilities: Cost Analysis and Optimization: Assess cost structures across fulfillment operations (warehousing, transportation, and delivery) to uncover opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Develop and execute data-driven strategies to reduce costs, including process enhancements, vendor negotiations, and adoption of advanced technologies. Warehouse Optimization: Streamline warehouse operations by optimizing layouts, improving inventory turnover, and enhancing storage utilization. Drive the implementation of automation and digital solutions to balance cost and operational excellence. Delivery Network Enhancement: Redesign and optimize delivery networks, including distribution center location planning and route optimization. Develop scalable, cost-effective last-mile solutions tailored to regional customer demands and order profiles. Transportation Efficiency: Enhance transport operations by optimizing truckload utilization, route planning, and service reliability. Introduce flexible transport models (e.g., consolidated shipping, direct routes) to address varying business needs. Data and Innovation: Utilize analytics to set measurable cost-saving KPIs, monitor performance, and identify areas for continuous improvement. Research and implement cutting-edge solutions, such as AI-driven logistics platforms and IoT, to transform fulfillment operations. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, operations, and finance, to align cost optimization initiatives with overall business goals. Build and maintain strategic relationships with logistics providers to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field. Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in cost optimization. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of fulfillment processes and cost drivers in warehousing, transportation, and delivery. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python) and optimization platforms (e.g., WMS, TMS). Familiarity with automation technologies and advanced logistics tools for routing and capacity management. Core Skills: Strong analytical mindset, effective problem-solving abilities, and excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred.
