The Operations Engineer, Malls will be part of the Malls Management Engineering Team and will contribute to the operational excellence & procedures and the project management of construction and renovation projects in our Malls. Our new colleague in this position, will put his/her efforts on projects delivery requirements including offers, budget, schedule, quality, health & safety, managing contracts and reporting requirements via SAP. The position will be reporting to the Operations Director, Malls. Indicatively, the Operations Engineer, Malls, will be responsible for the following tasks: Inspect biweekly existing shopping centers conditions including Cleaning, Security, Waste, Gardening Services and other service providers to ensure the delivery of services on high standards according to each contract’s specifications Gain an excellent Knowledge of Operational Procedures and Daily Operations, including Parking Area Ensure that all installations, machinery etc. are effectively and efficiently maintained by third-party contractors and in-house personnel Participate in the preparation of tender documents, define technical specifications, collect and evaluate tenders and offers (technical/maintenance/construction projects, energy and service providers procurement procedures) Organize, plan and overview construction implementation and renovation projects in our Malls Independent SAP User (POs & Contracts entries, BW Reports, etc) supports Malls Management Engineering Team Control and Review budget reporting requirements extracting and evaluate SAP reports Control & Coordinate Record the construction and major maintenance needs of building facilities and infrastructure of Shopping Centers Participate in the design and implementation of the annual plan regarding repairs, and upgrades of the facilities of the Shopping Centers Communicate with energy/utilities suppliers (electricity, gas, water) having a good knowledge of market & Malls Consumptions Prepare contract documentation, organize and keep all necessary documentation and files of projects Communicate with technical consultants and study engineers, when needed Safeguard and overview the compliance with health and safety conditions at Malls, in collaboration with the H&S Manager – Malls as well as ISO Procedures and requirements Support the Center Management teams in matters related to Malls’ construction works and operations when needed Gain a good knowledge of the condition of the Assets Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Progress, as well as ad-hoc Reports You will be a successful candidate for our opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: Academic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering , Postgraduate studies (eg. MSc/MBA) would be considered an asset Mastery of Excel, Word and PowerPoint Fluency in Greek and English language PMI certification and Project Management Software (such as Microsoft Project) will be considered an asset Professional Experience & Job Specific Skills: 7 years of minimum relative working experience in Mechanical Engineering positions, preferably in Buildings/Stores Engineering and Project Management Appropriate certifications and industry affiliations relevant to education and experience Prior experience in facility management, building operation and/or construction will be considered a plus Experience as an SAP user, will be considered an asset Experience in laying out reports by converting business requirements into numerical data On a personal side, the ideal candidate for this position: Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and team spirit Reliability and Professionalism Ability to take initiative and lead projects Customer-centered behavior and problem-solving ability Ability to work under pressure Has strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving and critical thinking skills Sets priorities, handles multiple tasks simultaneously and meets deadlines Our Company offers: Our vision is to bring to life the largest urban regeneration project in Europe.
